King Johannes III (1900–1988) was the reigning monarch of the Kingdom of Kruhlstutt from 1948 until his death. He is best remembered for his response to the 1964 Kruhlstutt Riots, when he surrendered the monarchy’s absolute veto power to the Sovereign Workers’ League (SWL) to prevent a full-scale revolution, transforming Kruhlstutt into a constitutional parliamentary democracy.
