Kresimiria Andrej Buk

Andrej Buk

Andrej Buk (commonly Diviner Andrej Buk) is a Kresimirian cleric and politician who served as Mayor of Kromine for sixteen years, representing the fundamentalist Sons of Kresimir (SoK).

The SoK Fortress

For most of Kromine’s history, the mayoralty was the exclusive domain of the Sons of Kresimir, who relied on the deep orthodox conservatism of the Old City. Buk was backed by the powerful local organizers Ivan and Marta Stov — parents of future Chairman Ari Stov.

In the 1992 election, amid Blue Dawn’s national collapse, Kromine stood as an impregnable SoK fortress. Buk was elected with the highest vote share in the country, serving as a refuge for voters disgusted by Blue Dawn corruption scandals (Mlada Wrba) but unwilling to support secular liberals or socialists.

The Silicon Flop

The 2008 “Silicon Flop” election nearly broke SoK’s hold. Ari Stov, then a Senator, poured immense resources into Blue Dawn’s campaign to support Filip Jorić, promising Kromine’s integration into the KresiX smart-grid. Buk narrowly survived by painting Blue Dawn as foreign corporate puppets.

Buk retired before the 2016 election, when Jana Tomljanović captured the mayoralty for Blue Dawn — ending SoK’s century-long monopoly on Kromine’s executive office.
