Brodska is a town in the upper uplands of District IX (Decelska) in the Divine Republic of Kresimiria. It is best known as the birthplace of long-serving Blue Dawn Senator Dorde Palic (1926), who represented the district from 1972 to 1992 alongside Stojana Czyhlarz.
History
During the Unification War, Brodska sat on secondary supply routes feeding the Decel front without becoming a major battlefield. Post-1921 it developed as a modest agricultural and timber entrepôt overshadowed by Kromine and Karlovac. Palic’s rise from Brodska to the Assembly embodied the district’s mid-century Blue Dawn machine — loyal to Sinj, sceptical of SoK zealotry, and dependent on state contracts rather than YakaSys-era venture capital.
Modern status
Brodska remains a minor administrative centre with no independent media presence. DecelChip and YakaSys hiring in Kromine’s New East have drained younger workers southward, leaving Brodska a retirement and weekend-market town for upland farmers.
