Unlike many elite competitors who train at private resorts, Joric is known for practicing on the public slopes above Lipovljana — a fact that has made her a beloved local hero in the mountain city. She is frequently featured on state television as a model citizen-athlete, including appearances on Lana B’s Saturday Night in Sinj alongside soldiers and workers celebrated as “heroes of the Republic.”
