Klara von Hardenberg (born 1951) is a Boskenmark politician who served as the faction leader of the Liberal People’s Party (LPP) in the Federal Council from 1998 to 2019. Representing a southern coastal canton, she was the primary legislative whip during the presidency of Boris Musaus.
Von Hardenberg managed the LPP’s cantonal strategy during the 1998 liberal restoration, securing a fragile Council plurality. Following Musaus’s defeat in 2005, she remained the LPP’s senior figure in the legislature, opposing the militarisation policies of the Bosken National Alliance. She retired from her leadership role after the LPP’s collapse in the 2019 Council election.
