Klaus von Reuter

Klaus von Reuter (born 1958) is a Boskenmark politician and the long-serving faction leader of the Bosken National Alliance (BNA) in the Federal Council. Since 2005, von Reuter has managed the BNA’s cantonal strategy and legislative agenda, working closely with President Viktor Luxenberg.

A former military logistics officer, von Reuter is credited with rebuilding the BNA’s cantonal organisation after its 1990s decline. While Luxenberg focused on national revanchist rhetoric, von Reuter operated as a ruthless parliamentary tactician, securing BNA majorities in the 2005, 2012, and 2019 Council elections. He was the primary architect of the border fortification funding bills passed during the Luxenberg era.
