Kresimiria Kresimirian Army

Kresimirian Army

The Kresimirian Army (KA) is the land warfare branch of the armed forces of the Divine Republic of Kresimiria. Headquartered at the Novi Otonik Military District, it is the largest and oldest component of the Republic’s military establishment, tracing its lineage to the centralist militias of the Unification War (1918–1921).

Throughout the 20th century the Army was the primary instrument of state consolidation — occupying dissident regions, enforcing the Moraviskameja pacification, and maintaining the fortified border with Boskenmark during the “Silent War.” Under hardline chancellors such as Kresimirovic II, the Army operated with minimal civilian oversight; the 1967 State Secrets Act later formalised its classified procurement and intelligence budgets.

Modern role

In the 21st century the Army remains a dominant political force despite Blue Dawn’s civilian leadership. It controls key power plants during labour disputes, blocks socialist budgets in the Federal Councils, and mandates KresiX on all issued terminals — a policy that extended military-grade digital surveillance to every barracks computer by 2014.

Senior officers such as General Marko Vukovic, Nikola Cicak, and Stojana Czyhlarz represent factions that view the Army as the ultimate guarantor of territorial integrity against Bosken revanchism and internal left-wing subversion. Boskenmark intelligence assessments — circulated via outlets like KresiX leak archives — routinely treat the KA’s northern garrisons as the primary obstacle to any cross-border détente.
