Kutvo is a small market town in inland District III (Pologradska), about an hour by Republic Rail from Polograd. It sits on the secondary grain corridor between the eastern steppes and the capital’s wholesale yards.
Character
Unlike Polograd’s temple skyline and Maj Tower glass, Kutvo is low warehouses, a Saturday livestock fair, and local shops from the 1977 Small Business Licensing Reform. The local Civic Renewal Front branch grew out of those independent retailers and has long organised against the Sons of Kresimir machine that dominates the district capital under Senator Malik Kondratiev.
Politics
Mayor Luka Belina (CRF) has held City Hall since 2014 on a platform of fair-ground leases, lighter Diviner inspection schedules for market stalls, and opposition to treating inland towns as tax farms for Polograd. SoK and Vjetrusa remain competitive in surrounding villages.
