Kresimiria Army of Free and Independent Moraviskameja

Army of Free and Independent Moraviskameja

The Army of Free and Independent Moraviskameja (commonly known as AFIM) is a covert Bosken-Kresimirian terrorist organisation based in Moraviskameja. The group was formed by members of BRC-21 led by Jochen Schoff who opposed the 1961 ceasefire (the Treaty of Brod Moravice). Unlike the more moderate members of BRC-21 who formed the Bosken Liberation Front, AFIM still opposes all forms of negotiation with the Republic of Kresimiria over the question of the region of Moraviskameja, and claim they will only accept unconditional independence.

It is illegal to be a member of or promote AFIM in any way within the Republic of Kresimiria under national security laws. Other political groups associated with the bosken minority, such as the Bosken Liberation Front, have disavowed and condemned the methods of AFIM.

It is unknown who currently leads the group, as they are decentralised and operate covertly.

The words on the party’s logo, ‘Krech Znacz Krech / Nasi Frei’, means ‘Struggle Means Struggle / We Will Be Free’ in Pravoslavic. This slogan is a direct and intentional attack at the Bosken Liberation Front, whose slogan is ‘Freedom Through Struggle (Frei Vran Krech). AFIM views the Liberation Front as traitors to the cause, and view their policy of taking up seats in the Kresimirian Assembly as recognising the authority of Kresimiria and Sinj over Moraviskameja.
