Jasenak is a western town in District VIII (Zahodecelska), inland and just north of the frontier city of Ozla. Timber yards and army-supply workshops sit between the Valkari wall country and the agricultural hills toward Varazdinske.
Character
Jasenak sits between Ozla’s garrison politics and Varazdinske’s Blue Dawn seminary culture. Many residents work seasonally in Ozla logistics or at Otonik Ordnance contractors while sending children to MUV prep schools. That split electorate — security wages plus liberal education aspirations — made the town a late CRF organising target after years of Vjetrusa local rule aligned with Senator Misko Maretic.
Politics
In 2022, Sara Medved (CRF) narrowly unseated a Vjetrusa incumbent by campaigning against municipal kickbacks in garrison contracts and for civilian oversight of town-guard stops that residents compared to Ozla’s Transit Ward harassment. Maretic’s organisation still polls strongly in surrounding villages. Party organisers describe Jasenak City Hall as the CRF’s most exposed mayoralty in eastern VIII.
