The Nastavak Realistics Alliance (NRA) is a Kruhlstutt centre-right to nationalist party founded in October 2024 by Marco Niedenthal following a schism in the Crown Nationalist Party (CNP). The party positions itself as a “realistic” nationalist alternative to Johanna Rief’s isolationist populism — favouring strict border rhetoric while preserving Kruhlstutt’s lucrative semiconductor and finance ties with Kresimiria.
Formation
After the Weintraub Visa Scandals destroyed CNP credibility, Rief was forced into a six-week co-leadership with Niedenthal. When Rief blocked his proposal to align diplomatically with Boskenmark, Niedenthal staged a parliamentary walkout, taking 42 MPs with him to found the NRA weeks before the 2024 snap election.
2024 election and platform
Many of those walkouts lost their seats at the polls. The NRA debuted with 18 seats — a respectable result for a new party, but insufficient to prevent Amalia Renn’s SWL progressive coalition from winning a majority. The fractured right (NRA 18, CNP 36) allowed Renn to implement her “Tech Embargo” against Kresimirian imports with minimal nationalist obstruction.
Niedenthal’s platform emphasises macroeconomic security, offshore risk management, and pragmatic engagement with Lake Vokavovic trade — contrasting with Rief’s call for live-fire naval enforcement against refugees.
Relations
The NRA competes with the diminished CNP for nationalist voters and with Kruhlstutter Union (KU) for suburban business conservatives. Lasse Rosler’s KU treats Niedenthal as a younger, more ideological rival on tech policy.
