The Severni Range (often shortened to Severni) is a major mountain system in northern Kresimiria, forming a natural barrier between District IV (Severnivaraje), Viskogorje, and the isolationist cantons of the Alandir Confederacy. Together with the Vjetar range to the west, it has historically insulated the northern provinces from Sinj-centric politics and fostered the regionalist identity championed by Northern Power.
The range is rich in timber and mineral deposits exploited by SeverMin and northern cooperatives, making it both an economic engine and a recurring site of labor and environmental conflict.
