Kresimiria 1922 Kaskivian General Election

1922 Kaskivian General Election

The First Regular Election. Following the chaotic constituent assembly and the 1919 independence declaration, former Imperial Governor Matteo Vorelli sought to formalize his mandate under the new constitutional framework.

Vorelli campaigned on his success in negotiating the “Velvet Exit” and keeping Kaskiv entirely out of the bloody Kresimirian Unification War. The electorate overwhelmingly rewarded him for the peace and stability. He secured a massive 8-year mandate for the Liberal-Conservative Party (LCP), easily defeating the newly organised United Workers Party (UWP) and a small, lingering bloc of Vosti Imperial loyalists who still rejected the Republic’s sovereignty.
