The 2002 Kresimirian Assembly Election was held to elect senators to the Assembly of the Republic. The election was a major test of the political realignment that began in the 1990s, particularly the succession of Boj Volansky to the leadership of the Civic Renewal Front (CRF) after the retirement of Mia Marija Pavlovic.
The ruling Blue Dawn party increased its seat count, as Stoyan Vasilisβs new regional focus proved successful, taking voters from Northern Power.
2002 saw the election of billionaire Bran Maj in Pologradska for the national-conservative Vjetrusa party.
