After a fifty-year career in the Assembly, Tihomir Bran (SoK) did not run for re-election. Malik Kondratiev, who previously ran in Decelska in 2002, moved to run in Bran’s traditional home district and became the new leader of the Sons of Kresimir.

Topi Topolski (CRF) lost his seat to Chwa Spas (NP). This election was heavily influenced by the 2009 Winter Freeze, where Topolski and Vasilis were implicated in the privatisation of Viskosever.

District VII (Ravna Skrad)

Mia Marija Pavlovic (CRF), first elected in 1972, retired from the Assembly. In her absence, the CRF vote collapsed, allowing Blue Dawn to win both seats in the district for the first time.

District IX (Decelska)

Despite a significant drop in his personal vote and the ongoing national decline of his party, CRF leader Boj Volansky managed to hold onto his seat in Decelska. Blue Dawn leader Ari Stov was comfortably re-elected with a massively improved margin, capitalizing on the CRF’s weakness to top the poll.
