Col. Anton Bric was a Kresimirian military officer and politician who served as Mayor of Bistrica from 1960–1964 under the Revolutionary People’s Party (RPP).
Bric won the 1960 mayoral election with 42.5% of the vote in a contest marked by a massive invalid/boycott tally (46.4%), reflecting northern resistance to central authority from Sinj during the Iron Era. As a serving colonel attached to the garrison administration, he enforced RPP discipline in the district while the BPP candidate was disqualified on sedition charges.
He left office after a single term in 1964, succeeded by Goran Iric following the refounding of northern regionalism under Northern Power.
