Filippo Carulli was a Kaskivian politician and early organiser for the United Socialist Party (USP), who represented the Picane Mills constituency from the 1930 general election until 1946. He sat during the years in which wartime labour leagues were being folded into a national social-democratic machine.
Career
Carulli entered parliament in 1930 as part of the USP’s first major federal expansion from the mill towns around Picane. Contemporaries remembered him as a bridge between factory organisers and the party’s emerging parliamentary leadership. He left the Assembly at the 1946 election.
