Kresimiria Isabel Teichmüller

Isabel Teichmüller

Isabel Teichmüller (Teichmüller) is a Kruhlstutt aristocrat and politician, and the granddaughter of Lord Admiral Teichmüller, founder of the neo-monarchist Admiration List (AL).

Following her grandfather’s death in 1986, Isabel inherited leadership of the Admiration List and served as its parliamentary leader through the 1980s and 1990s. She led the party in the 1989, 1994, and final Admiration List campaigns, but lacked Otto Teichmüller’s formidable military prestige. The party slowly bled seats throughout the 1990s.

In 1999, Isabel formally dissolved the Admiration List and began reorganizing its reactionary elements into the National Front. However, after the death of the provisional first leader, Johan Hacke, the new party pulled out of the 1999 General Election to regroup. This marked the first Kruhlstutt election contested without the Admiration List on the ballot.
