Jelena Savlek (1900–1975) was a Kresimirian politician who served as a Senator for District VII (Ravna Skrad) from 1942 to 1962. A member of the Civic Renewal Front (CRF), she was first elected in the 1942 election alongside Davor Banit.
Senate career
Savlek represented the CRF’s highland liberal strand in District VII — sceptical of SoK clerical politics and of RPP/Blue Dawn industrial centralism, but rarely a factional firebrand. Through the 1940s and 1950s she voted for civil-liberties and education measures associated with Matek’s party while accepting Iron Era security statutes when District VII constituencies demanded order along the eastern approaches.
She held the seat through the 1952 cycle and retired ahead of the 1962 election, as the CRF began the Corak–Cabraja leadership transition and District VII politics shifted under post-treaty pressures. She died in Ravna Skrad in 1975.
