Tomislav Saric was a Kresimirian politician who served as Senator for District III (Pologradska) from 1942 to 1952, representing the ruling Revolutionary People’s Party (RPP) and, during his final cycle, its 1951 successor Blue Dawn (BD).
Saric won election in the 1942 Assembly Election, one of the last contests held before the authoritarian consolidation of the “Iron Era” under Luka Matar and Chancellor Kresimirovic II. He voted consistently with the RPP establishment on major legislation, including the 1942 Constitutional Amendment, the 1943 Decelska Border Fortification Act, and the 1948 University Standards Act.
When Matar rebranded the RPP as Blue Dawn in 1951, Saric transferred to the new party label without public dissent and sat through the 1952 cycle as a non-running incumbent on the BD ticket alongside Pologradska colleagues absorbed into the reorganised caucus. Neither Saric nor his liberal rival Eward Matek sought re-election in the 1952 election, marking a generational turnover in Pologradska representation as Blue Dawn consolidated its post-RPP machine under Matar’s chairmanship.
